Armageddon

Armageddon expo was in christchurch for the first time ever this weekend! Praise those who bring convention merchandising to the little parts of the world-or rather the freezing an-arctic ones. Anyway, me and my friends all decided to meet up early for it and all so i wound up dragging my ass out of bed at 5AM! *so you know im a beg bug and dont usually get up before 12* Soo we wound up being like 2 hours EARLY, was funny though because on our was there we saw some guy tied to one of the street lights-still drunk from the night before-which kept us entertained for a few moments before seeing people camping outside of the convention center. For those of you who dont know, christchurch is one of the larger cities in new zealand but it is still really small, so when we turned up to this convention and we saw people camping out front-a grand total of five-it was hilarious!

Fantastic convention though and i recommend it to all kiwis but dont forget your wallet because you will want to do a lot of spending, i did! xD They had everything from anime and manga to weta studios with Lord of the Rings merchandise-or for the star wars fanatics like me, LIGHT SABERS! there were discounts for miles so money is a must!
